Your wedding, in ten days
This is an example. We plan each day with you, around the hours your pandit sets.
Day 1: Your inner circle arrives
Close family lands in Marrakech: welcomed at the aircraft door with iced rose water and a jasmine garland. A simple dinner under the olive trees.
Day 2: The sky, then the preparations
A dawn balloon over the Palmeraie for the inner circle. Final fittings in a private salon while the cousins rehearse the Sangeet.
Day 3: The first blessings
A pre-wedding shoot at dawn, the Bride’s Hammam at noon, the Ganesh Puja at 5 pm; both families dine together for the first time.
Day 4: Welcome, guests
Guests arrive from Mumbai, London and Dubai, their luggage already in their rooms. The Welcome Dinner, A night in Marrakech.
Day 5: The Mehendi
Sunrise yoga, the Glam Bar, then a whole day of henna under the orange trees, with live music and a zellige workshop.
Day 6: Saffron, then the stage
The Haldi by the water, an afternoon of massages, the Sangeet at night.
Day 7: The day
Safas tied for the procession, the Baraat, the Milni, the Jaimala and the seven steps around the sacred fire; the reception, then the Vidaai.
Day 8: The farewell brunch
A long brunch in the sun and your guests’ zellige panel; then the city is theirs.
Day 9: Morning sky, desert night
Balloons at dawn for those who have not flown; at sunset, camels in the Agafay desert and a dinner under the stars, with an astronomer.
Day 10: Goodbye, or the start of your journey
Departures, or on to Essaouira, the Sahara, or your honeymoon.
